Welcome to The College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

We are a not for profit medical, educational, and cultural institution with the mission of advancing the cause of health while upholding the ideals and heritage of medicine.

Everything we do works towards the goal of connecting the historical to the contemporary. Our audience includes not only the medical community and medical students but students in middle school through graduate school, artists, humanities researchers and scholars, and members of the general public. The unique focus of The College of Physicians combines science, public health and medicine, the arts, and humanities.

The building was designed in by architectural firm Cope and Stewardson in 1909.

The College of Physicians is home to the Mutter Museum, a medical history and science museum located in the Center City area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It contains a collection of anatomical and pathological specimens, wax models, and antique medical equipment. (Wikipedia)
